Yearly 127 Yard Sale Food Pantry Fundraiser

Paulding, OH – After raising more than $5,000 last year for the community, the First Presbyterian Church of Paulding is once again offering vendor rental spaces in its parking lot during the 127 Yard Sale. As always, proceeds from booth rentals and select item sales will go to support the local Caring & Sharing Food Pantry. Spaces are available from Wednesday, August 5, through Saturday, August 8, with setup beginning at 10 am on Tuesday, August 4. Rental spaces for the entire 4-day event will cost just $25 (20'x20') or $35 (20'x30'). Restrooms, refreshments, and air conditioning will be available for visitors inside the church, where the core of the sale takes place. With area for more than 20 vendors, this highly visible site, just steps from downtown, is an ideal location for whatever you're selling. Several local restaurants are within a couple blocks, with fast food located seconds away to the north on 127.

Profits from the 127 Yard Sale will go to support the Caring & Sharing Food Pantry, located at 318 Walnut Street in Paulding. The non-profit provides around 80,000 meals a year to food insecure members of the community. Potential renters should contact Event Coordinator Brent Fishbaugh at (419) 378-2068 or the First Presbyterian Church of Paulding, Ohio at (419) 399-2438. Renters may also stop in to the church (114 West Caroline Street) during office hours to pick up a rental agreement and reserve a space. Donation items for the sale will be taken throughout July with hours and locations posted on the church and pantry's social media sites. Community donations and patronage are core to the success of this endeavor and are just one reason the Food Pantry mission is such a success.
